A visit to one of the best events in the crime calendar
It’s that time of year again and I have had the most wonderful weekend at the Harrogate Old Peculiar Crime Writing Festival. It is one of the best events in the crime calendar, and I always have so much fun. Harrogate is a gorgeous city, and the perfect place to spend a weekend with my fellow writers and readers. Such a happy place to be!
My publisher, Bonnier Books, threw a lovely drinks reception on Saturday.
It was very pleasant to spend time with my wonderful community of readers and authors, who are all lovely – you wouldn’t know how much time we all spend thinking about murder!
We celebrated the publication of Whole Life Sentence and the conclusion of my Tennison series after 10 books. And with only eight weeks left until publication of my memoir, Getting away with Murder, it was a wonderful moment to celebrate that as well. I am nervously looking forward to sharing my life with you all, and I hope you find it of interest.
