The 2nd novel in the Jessica Russell forensic thriller series

With every new year, there’s a little voice in my head that whispers ‘perhaps this is the year to slow things down a bit’ and, every year, I tell that voice to shut up and be quiet because I’ve just come up with a brilliant idea for a new book that I must write immediately.
Launching the CSI Jessica Russell series last year was one such passion project. I am eternally curious about forensic analysis, as many of you who listen to my podcast will know. So it’s my pleasure to announce that the second book in the series will be coming Spring 2027!
As yet untitled, the new book will see Jessica’s skills put to the test when she’s called to a crime scene unlike any she has faced before: an abattoir.
As the horror of the scene unfolds, Jessica must use every ounce of her forensic expertise to identify the victim – and to find the most twisted killer her team has ever investigated.
It’s been fascinating to research and I do hope you’ll all enjoy reading it. And if that’s too long a wait, I have the new (and final!) Jack Warr thriller coming in March . . .
